Wise Owl Glazes are able to bring out details to any of your project pieces. Furniture pieces that have carved details, trim, recessed panels, and planking can benefit from glazes for a more defined and aged look.

Glaze Application Tips
- Apply the glaze to your project after your final coat of paint has dried completely and you have applied either one coat of Wise Owl’s Varnish or Wise Owl One Hour Enamel Clear (allow paint to dry 24 hours before applying the top coat).
- For best results, lightly sand a painted piece, brush on glaze in sections and then use a damp lint-free cloth to remove the excess.
- Allow the glaze to fully dry for 2 hours. The glaze produces a strong finish, but to fully protect it, Wise Owl’s Varnish or One Hour Enamel Clear may be applied over the glaze.
- As well, wearing gloves can prevent temporary staining of your hands.
